Thanks for joining us for a fun night of action where we came together to take action to support the Equality Act!
This year, Congress reintroduced HR 5, known as the Equality Act. The Equality Act would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to explicitly prevent discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity - It would protect trans youth and the LGBTQ community from discrimination in employment, housing, education, federally funded programs, and more. It would also expand protections for women, people of color and people of faith.
Join The Ally Coalition (TAC) and Equality Time in supporting the LGBTQ community all year round by continuing to contact your Senators.
The creative community vows to take a stand against anti-LGBTQ legislation and to advocate for equality.
